The demand for electrical power to supply homes, offices, and industries continues to increase, and local utilities can not always satisfy the periods of peak energy demand. Modern commercial, industrial and institutional operations need to insure that they have a consistent, uninterrupted power supply.

When the demand for electrical power soars, most businesses are faced with premium prices for power and drop-offs in power quality. We help our clients find the best ways to ensure they have consistent, affordable power through a variety of on-site power generation systems. Our goal is to make sure that they have the power they need, at the level of quality required by 21st century electronic equipment, systems and controls.

Government
rule On the Bethesda, Maryland campus of The National Institutes of Health (NIH) we constructed and operate the Co-generation Plant that meets the expansive energy needs of NIH. The 23 megawatt plant helps NIH reduce air emissions and energy costs. Business
rule We help large power users off-set the premium prices they would pay during periods of peak demand by designing, installing and maintaining auxiliary power generation systems. We also operate two major, stand-by generation facilities to help satisfy the Washington, D.C. area's peak power demands.
Small Commercial
rule We have helped our clients find the alternative sources of energy that best fit their specific needs - from solar collector arrays to geothermal heating and cooling systems. We are also one of the Mid-Atlantic region's leading providers of electricity generated from landfill gas and wind farms. Residential
rule A large, public use facility, like the Washington, D.C. Convention Center, hosts over two million visitors each year. Nearly all these visitors are at the Center for a specific, time-sensitive event. It is essential that the Center has a dependable and immediate source of back-up power to ensure the Center's visitors are never left in the dark.
